Win 7 Upgrade Advisor says I need to increase my memory from 512MB to at least 1GB. I changed it in "Configuration" but the memory allocation in Preferences has not changed. How do I do this? (stopping and restarting Parallels 5 did not make a difference). It also says I need to increase my hard disk size to at least 16gb. How do I do this? I don't see anything in Preferences or Configuration. Thanks for your help. Robin in Short Pump
Never mind, we figured it out. For anyone else who is rather new/confused by the inner workings of Parallels, the key to accessing the menu items to make these changes is to shut down Windows and then change the memory and resize the virtual disk from the Parallels menus. Just for good measure, shut down and restart Parallels. Win 7 Advisor now reports I am good to go. Robin in Short Pump
