Win XP VPN not working after Final Release install

Hi

I had a VPN connection (XP built-in, not Cisco) working perfectly in Win XP with RC2.

After I installed the Final Release of Parallels the VPN connection doesn't work. It just time-out's when checking username & password.

Can anyone point me towards a solution?
The VPN is very important to me because I use the connection in my daily work.

Thank you

Can anyone from Parallels support please help on this.

I've used the search function, nothing helpful has come up.

I have bought the final release of parallels workstation and would really like some help on this.

Thanks

Martin,

I don't think there were changes in release that may affect VPN from XP. I would look more closely at what else might have changed since you've used RC2.
How's your VM network configured? Bridged? Host-Only w/ IS?
Can you browse the web for ex. before you connect the VPN?

Things that may affect you VPN connection:
- VPN server configuration has changed (including keys/passwords)
- Your IP address/network has changed
- OSX/Windows firewall settings changed

Thank you for your reply serv.

I use bridged networking and I haven't changed that since the RC2 release.

I tried disabling the Windows firewall and the OSX firewall, still doesn't work.

I can browse the web and everything else, it's just the VPN connection that doesn't work. I checked with the VPN server and nothing has changed there. Same keys/passwords.

Nothing has changed, except me installing the final release.

It was one of the first things I tried. RC2 installed, VPN worked.
Downloaded and installed the final release, VPN didn't work, right after the installation.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
/Martin
