Win10 display settings change on reboot

It took me many attempts to get the appropriate display settings as I need them in Windows 10. Now I find that every time I reboot Win10, the settings revert to another set that are completely unsatisfactory so I have to change them again every time I reboot. Is there something that can be done to preserve the Win10 display settings across a restart? I have a 13" MacBook Pro Retina using OS X El Capitan and Parallels 11.2.1 with Windows10.
