Hi:
When I run an application in windows 7 under elevated priority, the application does not show up when I press cmd +tab.
To repro:
Start VM in coherence mode
Right click the parallels icon in the menu bar across the top to bring up the Windows Start menu
Shift+Right click an application (such as IE) in the start menu and choose 'Run As Administrator'
Windows will prompt as to whether or not you want the application to make changes to Windows, click yes.
Application starts.
Now, when you Cmd+Tab, IE will not show up as any of the applications that OSX cycles through.
Close IE
Right click the parallels icon again
This time, do a normal (left click) of the application you opened above (we'll use IE for consistency)
Windows opens the application as normal
When you Cmd+Tab, IE shows up as an application chose that OSX cycles through.
This happens for any application that is run with elevated permissions in Windows 7 while running in coherence mode. I can get to those applications by having a windows application in the focus and then using the windows equivalent to cmd+tab: alt+tab, but this is a hinderance and not very useful for me when I have several applications open in Windows 7 that must be opened under elevated permissions.
Is there a work around? Is there a magic bit I can flip in Parallels Desktop 6 that will force these applications to be there in addition to the applications I ran under my normal windows privileges?
