windows 10 AU unusable with parallels 10/12

Anyone else have this? My VM can't access folders on the hard drive (external drives fine) so that all I could do was access shortcuts or files on the desktop. Software worked just fine.

I've rolled back to the previous Windows 10, but as Microsoft auto-updates, its only a matter of time before this happens again... Anyone else have this issue? Any solutions?
 
Yep, the update a couple months ago caused erratic permissions problems for me, then the update 2 weeks ago fixed it. Then the update 2 days ago completely hosed my Windows. This is riduculous
