Windows 10 - BSOD, "Critical Process Died"

I'm running Parallels Desktop v15 on Catalina. I've tried restoring a working VM from three separate backups now and each one results in the same result - a BSOD with the "Critical Process Died" error message.

None of the built-in Windows troubleshooting/repair options work.

Any ideas what I can try please?

Me too.
Now my Windows 10 goes into "Repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete."
