I have two Parallels licenses. I am migrating both computers to new machines.
For one of them, I got frustrated enough to just buy a new Windows 11 license for one new machine, but, I sure would like to be able to transfer a Windows 10 license to the other one. Is there a FAQ how to do that?
I keep seeing references to the windows activation key / license number in order to upgrade but I cannot find it anywhere. Is there a FAQ or forum post that details this process for the non-Windows experts?

    Hello @NephI,

    Thank you for reaching out.

We understand your concern about transferring your Windows 10 license to your new machine.

While Parallels Desktop allow users to run Windows on your Mac, it's important to note that Parallels Desktop and Windows licensing are separate entities.

Parallels Desktop does not include a Windows activation product key and as such, an appropriate Windows product key should be purchased separately from Microsoft and managing Windows licenses falls under the jurisdiction of Microsoft.

You may refer to this article for more information: https://kb.parallels.com/9003

In this regards, for Windows licensing queries, including transferring licenses between machines, we recommend reaching out directly to Microsoft support. They'll be able to provide you with the necessary guidance and assistance according to your specific situation.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with Parallels Desktop itself, feel free to ask here.
