I just updated to 12.1.0 (41489). Now Windows 10 is stuck at the login screen. I enter my password it looks like it is logging in but goes no further.
Update: It finally logged in but gives the error C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the Internet or your network, then try again. My desktop then comes up blank. After a few minutes all the files reappear.
Please try creating a new user account in Windows virtual machine. It is Windows issue, please refer the Microsoft article here for more information.
Had this happen to a few VM's. One was too far gone for a new profile to work, This has happened to a few VM's in which re-creating the profile appears to work for these others, for now... But this continues to happen, even on brand new Windows 10 VM's with Parallels 12.
