Windows 11 activation?

I finally broke down and upgraded from 17 to 18 and it seemed to go well. I noticed the option to create a new VM with Windows 11 so figured "what the heck?" I've not been happy with my Win 10 on PD 17. The install went without a hitch and at the end a screen came up telling me that I now had a "fully functioning" Win 11 Home. However, that's not what it says in Settings, and I have a faint display in the lower right corner telling me to "Activate Windows."

What am I missing?
