Windows 11 for ARM/Parallels 17 - issue with Windows Store - downloads and updates

I am running Windows 11 for ARM under Parallels 17. Everything - aside from some older apps - is fine. However, I cannot get the Windows Store to update my existing apps or download anything new. The Window Store and the xbox app are installed and will open, but neither will download anything.
Any suggestions? I searched Google and a bit in the Insider Forums but could not find any suggestions on how to fix this.
