I have noticed a serious performance and freezing issue after updating to Parallels Desktop 26.4.2.
My setup:
Since updating to version 26.4.2, Windows 11 freezes approximately every few minutes. During these freezes, the mouse cursor can still be moved, but nothing can be clicked or interacted with.
Each freeze lasts approximately 30 seconds before Windows becomes responsive again.
Interestingly, these freezes sometimes also affect macOS, causing the host system to slow down temporarily.
Workaround:
I downgraded Parallels Desktop back to version 26.4.0, and the problem has completely disappeared. Windows 11 is running smoothly again without any freezes.
This strongly suggests that the issue was introduced in version 26.4.2.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with version 26.4.2, especially on Intel-based Macs?
I hope the Parallels development team can investigate this regression and address it in a future update.
