I'm running Parallels 18.3.0 (build 53606) an M1 Max MacBook Pro. The Parallels VM is currently on Windows 11 Pro 2H22 (build 25357.1). I am receiving Install error - 0xc1900101 on when attempting to upgrade to Windows 11 Insider Preview. Windows update fails on restart after installation and reports "inaccessible boot device." I have tried the following options which failed to correct the problem: 1. Turned of all sharing on VM (Mac and Windows) 2. Disabled Windows Fast Startup Any suggestions on how to fix this is appreciated. Thoughts? Thanks!

I've the same issue on the latest Parallels Desktop 17. Will there be an update for v17 too or does anybody know another solution for this? Thanks! _matk_
I do have the same issue. Everything was running well until the last parallels update. I'm running 18.3.1 (53614) and have the inaccessible boot device issue. How can I resolve this? R, J
Repport ID: 431694870 Same problem after updating to Version 18.3.2 (53621) and restart Win11 to finish the toolbox installation. Automatic repair won't work and I have no Snapshot. PLEASE HELP!
So far I have only received instructions in case of migration from win 10. I have Win 11 and installed directly. Of course it didn't work. Now I only get tips like: exit parallels and restart the mac, or reinstall windows. I have the feeling that my problem never reached technicians with expertise. If an update destroys weeks of work after weeks, parallels is not an option and I can only warn against this program. I know a little about Windows and have been able to troubleshoot my previous Intel Mac with Windows natively installed. However, this is not a Windows problem, but a VM problem and I am dependent on support from the manufacturer, which I do not receive sufficiently. 0 stars at the moment.
I am running Parallels 19.0.0 (Build 54570) on an M1 MacBook Pro running under OS 14 Sonoma and updating to the most recent update of Windows 11 stays locked in the "Restarting" screen. I've read of others having similar problems with versions of Parallels 18. I have sent report 437322408.
