    Hi All,
I'm thinking about building a system based on Windows Server 2008 and 2X Application Server on top of it.
I founded an article in your KB stating that tscals are still needed even using 2X, but the paper refers to windows 2000 and windows 2003, not to windows 2008. How does it work with this version? I need to buy also tscals?

    Thanks in advance.
    Luca.

yes if you are using a terminal server you always need them

You mean I can use 2X ApplicationServer without a terminal server, but directly installed on top of a simple 2008 server? Or anyway I need to configure and activate terminal services, and so buy the tscals?

you need to configure and activate terminal services, and buy the tscals unless you work on temporary
