Windows 7 CD-ROM drive missing?

I am trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit in Parallels Desktop 5.0.9344 on an iMac running OS X 10.6.3. Early in the installation process, the installer tries to locate a driver for the CD-ROM drive, but cannot locate one, so I cannot proceed with installation. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you solve it? Thanks much.

I have a similar situation: I got a new MacBook Pro on Wednesday and copied over my Parallels Windows 7 Virtual Machine. It complains it can't recognize the [Pioneer] CD/DVD drive.

Is this something for which Parallels or Microsoft needs to supply a driver?
