I am about to buy a Macbook Pro Retina (15 inch) and wondered whether Windows 7 or 8 is better for Parallels and also what software I can expect to have trouble with. I would use Windows/Parallels for some chess software (Chessbase and related packages).

    THANKS!

Sorry for posting on here, I cant seem to create a thread.
    I have a Mac-book Pro-retina and I have Windows 10 running fine in Parallels 15.
But I cant get Chessbase reader to work. It keeps asking for the activation code, then says "Not implemented yet".

How do I get support for this error? if I could fix it I would buy the software, as its what I really need it for.

Chess base trainer and fritz 15 on windows 10 using Parallels 13. I have already imported my Windows 10 laptop OS and it worked great, just not chessbase!

How do I get chessbase reader to work? the media plays but the chessboard odes not update and the window says 'steam protected'. I have tried Chessbase support they say its not them.
