Parallels desktop 10/windows 7 home premeium. I successfully loaded windows, but it is frozen on the updates. It is stuck on the page where it is attempting to install them (please do not power off or unplug your machine, installing update 121 of 167). I've tried to force quite via activity monitor, but when the vm opens again, it goes right back to this screen. Thanks for any help, I'm new to Parallels.

Thanks for the reply. I did look at that article. I don't know what the 'fix it for me' option is, the instructions don't make sense to me. I can't try option 2 because I can't get to the start menu in windows, it's stuck on the 'installing updates' screen where there is no desktop or start menu.
