Windows 7 Update Hangs in Parallels Desktop 11 for MAC

Does anyone know how to fix Win7 Updater that hangs (either in Checking for Updates or Installing Updates) in Parallels Desktop 11 for MAC? Already tried MS Fix It to no avail.
 
Hello Drj2, please follow the instructions outlined in this article to fix Windows updates hanging issue in Parallels Desktop. That article also applies to Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac.
 
Already tried both Methods described in the link you provided. Method 2, after typing "net stop bits" (sans quotes) in cmd/dos window results in "System error 5 has occurred" followed by "Access is denied". Method 1, via MS Fix It, runs but does not fix anything....
Any other suggestions?
