Windows 8.1 Guest - display flickers

Hi All,

I did search on this issue already, and attempted to apply prescribed solutions.

Basically, my experience with Parallels Desktop (8) has been good, but recently, my Windows 8.1 instance has had a flicker on the screen. This flicker is only for the VM; moving / using other OS X applications on that screen does not flicker at all.

I turned off 3D acceleration for the VM; I also turn down all visual effects within the Windows options.

I still experience the flicker.

Please help!

Uninstall all the display adapters on the Virtual Machine by going to :

Control Panel -> Device Manager -> Display adapters -> Expand the Display adapters -> Right click on the adapters that are present under Display Adapters and click on uninstall.

Also, Uninstall Parallels Tools and reinstall it again as suggested at : http://kb.parallels.com/4841
