Windows 8.1 VM Boot Failed

Hi,

I have had my VM running for nearly 2 months with no problems today I launched it and have a black screen that says 'Boot Failed. CD/DVD Failed. Boot Failed. EFI Boot." and then opens the EFI shell.

A support article said to try and turn off EFI boot, which I did and then it told me no OS is installed.

How can I fix this?!
 
Hi Michael,
Please stop the Virtual Machine by clicking on Actions -> Stop ( Do not suspend the Virtual Machine )
Locate the Virtual Machine in your Mac Finder
Double click on the .pvm file from the Finder and check if you are able to boot the Virtual Machine.
If the issue still persists, please provide us the size of the .pvm file and also generate a Problem Report ID ( http://kb.parallels.com/9058 ) and post
the Problem Report ID number here and we will check it for you.
