I'm experiencing an odd issue running Windows 8 RP as a guest OS.
When I drag a Windows Explorer folder from a Parallels network share (e.g. Z:\Folder_Name or \\.psf\Home\Folder_Name) to the Desktop, the file copying process seems to stop after a few milliseconds. Often the folder itself is copied, but none of the contents, or occasionally just one file inside.
This behaviour only occurs when dragging to the Desktop; I assume it's something to do with Parallels trying to keep the files on my Mac and PC desktop synced.
