I am using Parallels Desktop 15, with Windows XP fine. I don't need to upgrade my PD15 as it works great. Running MacOS 10.13.6 High Sierra. I'm now looking at installing Windows 98SE as a 2nd guest OS as I need some older programs from that time that worked very stable at that time. PD15 still mentions compatibility with W98SE. I have a 98SE Retail Full.iso as a download from winworldpc.com, and also a Windows 98SE boot disc (I think W98 needed a floppy to help install it at the time). These are in a separate folder and named as .vfd, .vhd, and .vmc files. When I start the Installation Assistant to install Windows 98SE in Parallels, it starts to install fine, but it gives the error ''There is no operating system installed in this virtual machine.'' ''To install an OS, connect a source with OS installation files, such as a CD, thumb drive, or disk image, and reset the virtual machine. '' The BIOS seems to trying to boot from Primary Master IDE Drive ..... Skipped trying to boot from CD-ROM Drive ..... Skipped trying to boot from Floppy Drive ..... Skipped No boot device is available, press Enter to continue...' When I press Enter it just does the same thing again and again..? Do i need to point the floppy drive files to Parallels, and how? Any ideas on how to install W98SE? Thanks
