Windows activation after converting from VMware Fusion

Has anyone been able to get Windows 10 re-activated after converting a VM from VMware to Parallels?
My VM image works perfectly in VMWare and is activated but keeps failing to activate in Parallels due to the hardware change. Went through the troubleshooting steps and chat bot which then is supposed to schedule a call to me in 3 minutes. Tried that twice last week and no phone call from Microsoft.
Anyone have any tips or do I have to try and get in contact with Microsoft again somehow?

Did you try these steps?
 
I ran into this problem when converting my bootcamp to vm. Spent multiple days with Microsoft explaining it was the same physical machine and yet the license couldn't be activated. They eventually agreed to transfer my license to the new vm.
