Windows CE 2X client

Hi,

Does anyone has an experience with installing Windows CE 2X client?
I have copied it to my PocketPC device, started .cab file; it was installed successfully and now I have 2X Client shortcut in Programs folder.
But when I'm trying to start, it gives me an error that AppServerClient is not a PocketPC application..

I use iPAQ with Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, 4.21.1088

Windows Mobile is not supported by 2x,2x ce client is only supported by windows ce.

A couple of questions about the 2X CE Client?

Has this been newly released for 8.0?

I've also found it doesn't work on Windows Mobile 20003 Second Edition, or WM5, WM6 or WM6.1.

What version of Windows CE was it developed for, an example PDA that it's been tested on would be handy for me to compare specificiations.

I'm trying to test PDAs with 2x for suitability, with largr screens for a browser app, and scroll bars will be an issue, otherwise will select XP embedded tablets
