Windows Explorer Failed - Windows 7

Parallels for Desktop 6: Build 6.0.11992
Guest OS: Windows 7

Upon booting Windows 7, I keep receiving an error that Windows Explorer has crashed. Parallels tools has been installed/uninstalled/installed several times. I have also done a complete reload of Windows 7. No changes.

Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?
 
thanx Hans - I studied the thread and have now installed a version with 828 in it so hope that works ok :)

The question is if only restoring the build helps. My virtual machine was damaged also. Therefore, I had to restore a backup of the virtual machine to.

Let me know if it works for you
