Windows is only recognizing 1GB , not the 2GB installed

i am using this program for real estate - just bought more memory but windows 7 is only accessing 1 GB of memory and not the mac full capacity of 2 - can someone please explain this please!

If your Mac has only 2 GB then your virtual machine probably shouldn't be given more than 1 GB. You can change how much the virtual machine is given (while it is not running) by using the menu: Virtual Machine -> Configure -> General -> Memory. If the virtual machine is given too much, then your Mac will run slowly.
