Recently when I start the Windows XP Virtual Machine, the blue screen w/ "Windows is Shutting Down" comes up and it just hangs. The only way to get the VM to boot is to "reset" the VM, it boots just fine, then I can do a clean shutdown. But even once I do a clean shutdown, when I start the VM again, it hangs at the "Shutting Down" screen. Any suggestions? Mac OS 10.6.4 w/4GB RAM. 1GB allocated to Parallels. All latest updates on Parallels and XP.
