Windows login page, unknown username/password after windows update

I'm using the Windows 10 Development build as a guest, and OSX Big Sur as a host. Windows 10 forced an update and restarted, and when it came back I see a login screen, saying "Other user". The login page was previously disabled, since there is no login page for a development windows 10 build. Now I'm not able to use the OS and I have to reinstall. This happens only after an update and reboot, triggered by windows. Since this has happened multiple times, It's a bit frustrating to start over. For the next time what should I do? Should I disable login screen manually/explicitly? Should I turn off automatic updates?
