Hi, I have Parallels 12 and Windows 8.1 and I try to figure out, what I should check/uncheck to prevent the Windows from pausing. The Pause Windows when possible is unchecked and the OS X Resume is checked for Disable for Parallels Desktop. I tried to either keep the VM's energy setting to never turn off the computer, or to turn off the computer after 5 hours. Nothing worked. Also the Mac's advanced privacy setting to log out after a period of time is unchecked. Nothing works, Windows keeps pausing. Thank you very much for any help.

1. Uninstall Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac using PDReomve.zip

2. Run Repair Disk Permission
3. Restart your Mac
4. Reinstall Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac
