Windows Product key not working

I'm trying to install Windows in Parallel 10 on a new Mac. I previously had it installed on an old Mac which has been replaced under warranty so I know the software should work.
First I had a problem with the automated product key being incorrect, which I fixed by removing the "floppy disk" from the Windows Configuration, before running the installation.
Now when I get to the "type your windows product key" page and I enter the product key. It comes back and says that it's invalid. I know I have keyed it in correctly. It just won't accept it.
Does anyone have any suggestions at all?

Hi Sonja,
Please try to activate the copy of your Windows operating system by doing a phone activation & check if that helps you to resolve the issue.
