    Running Parallels 16
In the process of seeking out unnecessary large files to free up disc space on my Mac via Finder search I'm seeing this below.

Not very tech savvy here so I've no idea what these seemingly duplicate vm files represent & whether one can be deleted.
The top, smaller pvm "created 11/10/19, modified 8/4/21"
The larger pvm "created 10/31/11, modified 11/9/19"
    thanks for any suggestions

Searching in Windows I found contents of the above corresponding files
    Z:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Parallels\My Windows 10.pvm\Windows 10 (1)-0.hdd
    Windows 10 (1)-0.hdd.0.{5fbaabe3-6958-40ff-92a7-860e329aab41}.hds (31 GB)

    Z:\Users\Shared\Parallels\Windows 10.pvm\Windows 7-0.hdd
    Windows 7-0.hdd.0.{5fbaabe3-6958-40ff-92a7-860e329aab41}.hds (207 GB)

Hello, do you have 2 VMs? Or did you update your Windows 7 VM to Windows 10?

Just 1 VM. Yes, would have updated Win 7 to Win 10 at some point.
And I did have to reinstall Win 10 a couple of years ago which may explain why I have 2 sets of files in my system.
Current VM files in use total 30 Gb. And I see now that the older set of 200 Gb files show no activity since 2019.
So I assume I can simply delete the latter. Why that .hds file became so huge is a mystery.
