Windows update (XP) not works... is blocked

I've installed a new Windows XP virtual machine in a Mavericks host and with the last version of Parallels (9.0.23350 rev.941886), but every time that I try to update the guest operative system (with "windows update" function integrated in the operative system) all is blocked and the CPU (guest) go to 100% and not update nothing.

Any ideas to resolve this issue?
