Windows VM crashing Mac ( Big Sur) on start

    Hi, I have the same issue, opening parallels crashes my mac and restarts. I tried to edit the config.pvs file as suggested above, but only "system" has read/write access. How can I change this not being able to get into parallels?

    Starting Parallels 17 on BigSur crashes my Mac. It stops at showing 90 (see attached file). Then, my mac does not react on mouse moves or any key anymore.

    Hi all.
    I'm on parallels 18, 256 hd, 8 gb ram, legacy video settings). Windows 10 (updated as of 10/13/22) on a Mac (2015 late pro), 1 gig ram, 1tbt HD, 1gb video ram. I at the first crashed the mac at "windows login".. after applying the fix here for "hyperv" set to "1", and to Apple" I rebooted mac, was able to log in to windows.. open some apps (though cpu was high). Went to start menu, was going to hit power off, Mac crashed.
