Windows XP freezes completely on Parllels 6

Hi,

i am using the trial version of Parallels 6 to virtualize Windows XP on MAC OS 10.6.4. Sometimes Windows XP completely freezes, i cant do anything anymore and have to shutdown the virtual machine.

i have 4GBs of RAM, XP gets 2 GBs.

I am using a program wich uses a SQL Database located on my Mac. Anybody has an idea how to fix that or what the reason is?
 
XP on parallels 6 slower than on parallels 6???

I just installed version 6.
I was surprised, version 6 is slower than version 5!? Windows XP takes several times to start. The start of the user definitions seems to occupy the the additional time; let say 50 seconds!!! No problem in version 5: 10 seconds on an iMac i3.
After XP is running, my feeling is, that all programs will start more quickly than under version 5, that's fine!
Do anyone have an idea where the problem of start of XP is?
