Windows XP Professional on Parallels 9

I need to run Windows XP Professional SP3 for some dedicated appliance software. The specific software does not run on Windows 7 or 8 at all. Hardware for Windows XP is limited and a new laptop with XP compatibility is not available. Can anybody tell me if Windows XP will run on a MAC with OS-X Ver 10.9.3 and Parallels 9 installed ??

Yes, you can run Windows XP SP3 in Mac OS X 10.9.3 and Parallels Desktop 9 but the support for Windows XP has ended.
