Mac starts up ok. Parallels starts up. Click on VM Windows XP machine. Windows begins the start up process with the Win Logo etc but finishes up with a BLACK screen. Cannot operate Windows. Restart & notice displays options to start in Safe Mode etc and/or use Last Known Good Configuration". Selecting this enables Windows to start. Therefore one assumes we now have a good version for next start up.
No such luck! Same as before, black screen again.
Conclusion; If Windows had been recovered with a last known good configuration, is it then Parallels that is causing the faulty start up of Windows?
