Wn 7 x64 z & PDM 4.0 3810 No Sound

My setup seems to work mostly. However there are some peculiarities (mentioned in another post). One problem I am having is the lack of sound output. Ive checked PDM devices and everything looks to be in order but still no sound. Any suggestions?

Please update Windows 7 installation, installing Windows updates,
On 32 bit version it is working

I had no sound in 64 bit, then I had distorted sound, then I had clean sound....it's all in that thread (unfortunately along with a lot of other stuff)

On x64 download Vista AC'97 drivers from Realtek, install them, then Control Panel>All Control Panel Items>Sound>Playback Devices> select 'Realtek Digital Output' instead of 'Speakers'.
