Working with ethernet

Hello, I have a crossover ethernet cable connected to my IMAC that runs to a copy machine for printing documents. I have set up identical settings to my other XP operating system in parallels but I'm getting nowhere when I need to send documents to the copy machine. Does anyone have a suggestion for me? If you're in Bridged mode you should assign your Windows VM an IP address different from your Mac and the printer.
Alternatively use Shared Network mode and set Windows to use DHCP.
