xp 32 pro transporter migration ends in black screen

Hi, I'm trying to migrate a physical windows xp 32 pro installation to a vm on a mac. The migration seemed to go well (though it took 16 hours to migrate the 30GB disk), but now I'm faced with a black screen and this message:

You need to manually continue the process of configuring the "Win XP 32 Boxx" virtual machine.

To continue with the configuration, log in to your Windows virtual machine. If you have the CD autorun option enabled, the configuration will resume automatically. Otherwise, open My Computer and run the setup.exe file located on your CD, ignoring any Windows messages. For more information on configuring your virtual machines, visit the configuration page on the Parallels website.

All the docs I can find seem to expect that after I "OK" this dialog, windows will boot and I'll be able to log in, but nothing happens for me. I just get the black screen eternally, and machine seems to be doing nothing special. If I "Reset" the VM, I end up at the same black screen.

Any ideas very much appreciated !

Same Problem Here!

I am trying to migrate Windows XP over to parallels, the conversion process ends in a black screen after Parallels advises me that I have to login. Reset, Restart both end up at the same place. The Black Screen Of Death. What can I do?
