XP Audio Clicks

Hello All,

Did not come up with anything in searching, so I thought I would see if anyone else is having this problem...

In all of the betas since the last official release (1970), the audio clicks that you normally hear when navigating through file directories or when you are using IE are not coming out of the speakers anymore. I can see the activity light on the speaker light up when one should be heard, but nothing comes out of the speaker. All other audio functions work as expected.

This is with:

MacBook Pro 17" 2.16 2GB
OS X 10.4.8
Parallels build 3170 - XP Pro SP2

I have the Devie Volume set all the way up and cannot hear any of the 'clicks'. It is not a big deal, just something that I had gotten used to.

no clicks on mine
there might be an option in WinXp Conrol panels someplace

try the MS Knowledge base
