Yosemite as guest on Yosemite Host Feasibility using Parallels

    Hi Parallels team,

    I have a query regarding using Parallels 10 on My Mac Yosemite. I just want to know if I can make a virtual machine of Yosemite/Maverics on my host as Yosemite/Maverics correspondingly. Clear scenario -

    Host (My OS) -> Maverics/Yosemite
    Guest OS -> Maverics/Yosemite - using its iso file (corresponding)

    But facing an issue while doing it.PFA the screenshot for the same.
    Also please let me know the feasibility of this scenario. Is it possible to achieve it using Parallels 10/9.

    Looking forward for your reply. Its kind of urgent to get the solution.

    Hi,
    the supported scenario is to download Install.app of Mavericks/Yosemite from Appstore. Then in Parallels choose "File -> New". Usually Parallels discovers the Install.app and suggests to install MacVM from it. But if it doesn't, choose "Install Windows or another OS from DVD or image" (press Continue) -> Image File and right-click in the "Drag image here" area. Then select the install app. Wizard will spent some time converting Install.app to the installable image.
