It looks like Parallels 9 will not launch on my Mac Pro with the Yosemite Beta 2. Is anyone else experiencing this?
You are right that Parallels 10 will launch with Yosemite 10 DP6 or Beta 2, BUT not everyone wants to upgrade to V10. Also, they had V9 working well until DP6 came out. Parallels should update V9 ASAP to allow those people with V( to run on Yosemite.
Upgrading to version 10 doesn't guarantee it will work. See http://forum.parallels.com/showthre...Mac-OS-X-10-10-DP6-All-Windows-Guest-VMs-Slow Cheers, Mark.
Hi All, Our Engineering team are aware of the issue and are working on it. We will update the solution once it is available . Meanwhile you can try Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac 14days Trial version : http://kb.parallels.com/122644
Abdul - If you try Parallels for 14 days, can you still go back to V9 if you want without rendering your Windows VM unuseable?
Hi BCW, Yes , you can try PD10 for 14 days and you can revert back to PD9. Just uninstall Parallels Desktop 10 once the Trial expires and install Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac.
Hello BCW, As of now we do not have any official information on that. Please stay tuned to our official website : www.parallels.com
What is the best way to get notified once PD9 is ready for OS X Yosemite? Will the notification be posted in this thread?
