Zune problems, anyone?

Okay so i bought a Zune, and guess what, I actually like it, its pretty, its bright, and its not working.
I have read like so many threads about this but they never end up with a solution, i have gotten the "Another program is using the Device" so many times im about to loose it.
Anyway, i have parallels 3188 and I read somewhere that the new version actually fixed the zune compatibility issues, but isnt this the new one?
I will do anything you say but please help me get this thing straight.

Oh and i have Mac OS X 10.9
 
Sounds like a Microsoft product!

Can you tell me where to get OS X 10.9 from. Id like to see the future. Ive only got 10.4.9 ;)
 
I'll save my messages, but my inner self wants to say the AppleInsider joke about the Zune... ("It's brown like poo!!!1!")

Have you tried setting your USB to auto-connect to see what happens?
 
I've heard that, when placed under your tires, they're good for preventing your parked car from rolling on hills.
