O365 and RAS

I'm having issues with O365
When installing O365 with shared license activation on remote desktops, the user can't log in to activate Office.
This only happens with published applications; the desktop works fine.
We have Windows Server 2019.

Hi everyone
I'm currently evaluating Parallels RAS and am running into an issue where the client can't connect.
The client starts the browser and i can authenticate with the SAML IDP. I get the Authentication successful message from the portal and am redirected to the client. A few moments later i get following error:

Hello, I'm currently deploying a replacement for Citrix at a client site. Everything is working perfectly, but I've encountered a critical issue. The client uses YubiKeys for passkey authentication on Edge in the RAS desktop environment. This isn't working. I suspect the RAS client doesn't support the WebAuth protocol. While the option exists in the clients for both AVD and Citrix, I can't find anything in RAS for WebAuth redirection.

We have installed Parallels RAS on a server. I would also like to use the "session mirroring" feature on admin PCs without establishing a remote connection to the Parallels RAS server.

The Parallels RAS installer (version 21) does not allow individual features to be installed in Windows. Is there another option?

We have been using SSL certificates in Parallels RAS for years and never had an issue. However, when we came to renew this year, we have been unable to import a certificate / Private key pair. A month after a ticket was raised with Parallels and STILL no progress.

We are building a PoC, and have gotten most of the things we want configured. We are now getting an AD join issue with rebuilding hosts and only when rebuilding. I can delete and recreate and all works as expected.
The service account is the owner of the computer account, I have also given the service account full permissions to the computer account and it still fails.

pretty new RAS Admin here.

Just updated to version 20.2 from version 19 and not quite sure if this is something related to that, but it seems that I am not able to use the Disable Logons from the RD Session host management anymore. It says that "cannot change because... server's group policy". But I checked that the policy is in "Not configured" state.

When performing a default install of the RAS Performance Monitor it initially seems to install but then performs a roll-back for reasons unknown. When I check the installation log I find the following:

Hi!
We have a ERP system that through functions exports data to a temporary file and opens it in Excel.
Since the application is published as a remote app and not through desktop we want to have the app use the clients Excel to open the file but we cannot find out how to.

Same with Outlook, the program spawns a request to Outlook (New message) and attaches a file.
MAILTO works but the reference to outlook.exe does not.
Anyone had a similar usecase?

Hello - we have a basic RAS setup with just a published Desktop. We have MFA setup with MS Authenticator. When users first open the Parallels client they are asked to type in their username/password and OTP. Then once the client opens and they click on Desktop it asks them again for username/password and OTP. So twice they have to enter a code. Can we set it up so just username/password and OTP just once?

we are currently running Parallels RAS 20 in production and are planning our upgrade path to version 21. One question we have is about component compatibility, specifically the HALB appliances.

Is it supported to upgrade only the HALB component to version 21 while the rest of the farm (connection brokers, gateways, agents, etc.) is still running on version 20? In other words, can we run a mixed environment where HALB is already on 21 but the main RAS farm is still on 20, or...

Me and many users are having issues with google authenticator. Trying to log in with OTP i will get an error message sating
"Login using Google Authenticator failed. Error: Incorrect OTP." I followed the kb articles where I synced the provider with a global ntp and and synced mobile devices time and date, but I still keep getting the incorrect OTP error. Then when I try to check in if a user account is added to the OTP the user does not appear.

Now when I try to start a desktop I receive a message addressed to other user saying that I don't have the right to logon remotely. I have a session host pool which I am able to add members to which are deployed from my template. I have had a host fail deployment and I've deleted from the pool. The issue I am having is deploying another host to the pool RAS will try and use the previously failed machine name/ID and this then also fails deployment, the status is stuck in 'Provisioning' then changes to 'Not Applied', logons are enabled but will error trying to connect and launch an application.
