I noticed that my Windows 8 VM (Boot Camp) scales when I switch the VM to window mode. It's useless that way because I cannot see much on the screen that way. How can I deactivate the scaling?

Windows 8 needs at least 1024x768 display. If your Mac resolution is 1280x800 or less, the Dock, menu bar and window caption eat up precious space and Parallels scales Windows display to fit on screen. You can change guest OS type to Windows 7 to stop Parallels from maintaining minimum resolution.

    It happens again.

Since the last update, I think that what triggered it, my Windows 8 scales instead of changes resolution again in window mode. The VM is still set to "Windows 7".

How can I force it change resolution rather than scale?
