Wanting to upgrade my Parallels for Mac, and ran a trial for V11, but found that couldn't access my V6 virtual disk. Found out that I should update to V9 first, but I'm having a problem with the Trial key, each time I try to request it gives me a message that the internet connection has failed, though my internet connection works fine (I'm here posting to this forum Could it be a problem with having the V11 trial key open? Or is there some setting I may be missing? I'm running Yosemite V10.10.5 on a 2.2GHz i7 MacBook Pro with 4 GB memory
Hi Jim, after the release of Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac, we have stopped providing evaluation edition for the older versions and that is the reason you are unable to get trial version.
OK, is there anyway for me to access my V6 disk from the V11 trial, so I can see if it handles my research software alright?
Hello Jim, Please follow this article to activate Parallels Desktop 11 trial version. You need not buy version 9, You can get Parallels Desktop 11 full version to activate .
Been there, done that, but it didn't see my Parallels for Mac 6 virtual machine, which is my problem.
