I have installed Parallels Desktop for Mac on my iMac running Sierra.
Go to install Windows 10. All goes fine up to the point where it is to restart and that is where the parallels Wizard hangs up.
I tried 4 times both 64 and 32 bit but same issue.
    HELP PLEASE

Had to bite the bullet and pay my computer company techies to install.
This should have been as easy as my experiences with Mac programs. To say I am disappointed in the experience is an understaitment. I pray that Parallels and Windows work for me as I only need them for one program. Just made it more expensive.

Please follow the instruction from this article. Once the installation is finished(refer screenshot) & requires a reboot, plz unplug the USB from the Mac & then restart.
If not, plz disconnect Windows 10 from External Boot device(refer screenshot) Forum Windows 2.png Forum Windows.png

    Hi,
frustrating. It happens to me as well. Brand new Win 10 USB dongle. http://kb.parallels.com/123364 doesn't help at all, because I am not reaching this stage.

I was playing with several config settings, EFI Boot, Hypervisor, etc. but BSOD still occurring. I'm trying to boot 64bit.

    Help please.

    Kind regards

Changing a few settings, I can reach this stage...

Boot order is: Ext. device only w/ EFI

    Search "0x80300024" -> Zero results

Disabled Real time virtual disk optimization and results are the same.

    Killed the VM.

    Fresh installation now like this:

It completes all stages, including Getting finished,...

Next time Boot jumps into BSOD again!!!

Please follow the below steps and keep us posted:
    1. Unplug or disconnect USB stick.
    2. Click on Action -> Select Reset.
    3. If the issue still persists, please reinstall Windows 10 without an activation key and by using Express Installation unchecked.
    4. After the Windows 10 installation is complete, go to Settings --> Update and security --> Activation, and click: Change product key.
    5. Enter the product key from the order receipt to activate Windows 10.

    Hi Swati,

it's installing now, but I cannot tell you if it all works. I think the Express disable was a good hint so far.

I was able to create a partition myself
    [IMG]
It's running 100% cpu, single, just the black windows screen with the tortoise windows logo...I wonder if its stuck or taking some time. I will report.

    Kind regards,
    LS

OK, I don't know, but after 4h I kicked the VM (reset) and now booting from disk shows me ... and now I can customize it... not sure if I will make it to a full Windows, but it looks promising now.

I can confirm it's working now. The key was to disable Express installation in my case. I hope the VM is stable.
    Best regards
