    I've looked at every forum.

I got error 471. I plug in the USB and it sees it. Asks me to grant it access (and I approve) and it shows up in the drop down in the upper right-hand corner. But, I can't open it. Any advice? Btw, I'm using a Macbook Pro early-2015 High Sierra. I've tried two other USB's and an external hard drive. Nothing.

I tried this and still got nothing:

Hi @JakeN1, please shut down the virtual machine and go to it's VM configuration settings, Hardware -> USB & Bluetooth ->Advanced settings -> tick " Enable USB 3.0" and check out the virtual machine performance.

Please reproduce this error message, generate a Problem Report ID while the error message is being displayed (very important) and reply with the same.

    Hi,
unfortunately it is an issue in Parallels Desktop Lite with High Sierra. This should be fixed in the next update (but I may not say when it will be issued)
