Kinect 2 and Parallels Desktop 15

Hello,
I wanted to know if Kinect 2 worked with Parallels Desktop 15 (this version supports DirectX 11)? Should Catalina be installed or is Mojave enough on my MBP?

With Kinect Configuration Verifier, I've this message : "Checks your usb controllers for kinect for windows V2 compatibility. Supported USB 3 port detected with unknown bandwidth. Kinect may or may not be compatible with your hardware.".
I've a MacBook Pro with macOS 10.14, Parallels Desktop 15.
Could you explain me what i've to do to use my Kinect 2 on my VM?

Ok, i've found an other thing more specific : "WDF KinectSensor Interface 0" can't start.
Therefore on Bootcamp it's start, but not with Parallels Desktop 15 and Bootcamp as my VM...
Do I have to wait for macOS15 for PD15 to recognize my kinect 2 and WDF KinectSensor Interface 0 to work?

PD assistant told me to wait Catalina and my Kinect 2 (and then DirectX11) will work. So i wait.

Thanks for sharing this, but if it's possible and if you have time for it, please collect the tech.report, it will help us to find the rooy cause of the issue before the Catalina release.

I'll be back again. PD 15 supports DirectX11. My Mac is on Catalina now. So Kinect2 should now run on PD15. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Using the" Kinect v2 Configuration Verifier" application informs me that :
"No depth frames received from Kinect".
Could you explain to me why the Kinect with PD15 does not work while DirectX11 is now supported.

I'm having the exact same issue. I just bought the license for PD15 and the virtual machine recognizes the Kinect is connected but won't show the input.
I believe there is something that is causing the Kinect to still be "asleep", somehow not recognizing it should turn on by being connected to the Mac because on my Kinect the xbox logo is not on and a couple of months ago was working fine on a PC.
I need support on this please.

my problem still hasn't been solved. PD support issued a ticket but I haven't heard from them since. While PD15 supports DirectX11!
It's still painful because I systematically have to go through BOOTCAMP to use my Kinect. So I'm joining you in relaunching a request to PD. Thanks for solving our problem.
 
Guys, Parallels Engineering Team still working on the resolution and we haven't any updates yet.

Same problem. Have spend two days thinking that it was a driver issue, now gonna try to do the same things on the Bootcamp

Is it better to install Parallels Toolbox on Mac via Parralles desktop or on Windows in my VM? Would this eventually change the Kinect recognition?

I just did the upgrade to PD 16. Unfortunately, my Kinect2 compatibility issue still doesn't work. Do you have any news? Thank you.
