can't run the downloaded edition 17 .dmg

Downloaded the 'install parallels desktop.dmg' edition 17 for a trial and I can't get it to install.
When I click on the downloaded file, I get an icon on my desktop which I can't get to run.

What can I do?

I wan't to try before I buy...

Hello, please let us know from where you have downloaded the .dmg file? Do you have any antivirus or VPN on your Mac?

I haven't got a VPN or any kind of antivirus programs.

Don't need any support anymore.
