Install Parallels dmg not working

am trying to install parallels desktop 17 for mac free trial. i downloaded the installer dmg. i clicked on the installer & then hit in the install. i get a screen that comes up. the loading bar starts blank, then becomes fully blue & then the next part of the installation never opens.

Hello, I have the same Issue
It is not allowing me to install the application, my operating system is MAC OS Monterrey 12.4, the installer does not go beyond Opening.
